PRODUCT REVIEW: L.A. Girl Pro Primer Eyeshadow stick

I'm currently attending the House of Tara makeup school ( that's why I have not had time to post), when we were given our starter kit the eye shadow primer was sold out then  and I needed one so I went in search of one that was affordable, I went to Ikeja City Mall to see which one I can get and I saw this beauty I had not seen any previous reviews on this product so I didn't even know what it could do, I bought it because of the packaging.

This primer comes in three shades; white, nude and black. I picked the white at first then I saw the nude and decided to go with the nude, this primer is easy to handle when applying it unto your lid, it glides on smoothly so you and blend into the skin with your finger

According to the L.A. Girl website Pro Primer stick is a multi-tasking primer that has a light weight, non-sticky formula that sets for long-lasting eye makeup application. The smooth texture glides over eyelids to prep your eyes for a flawless, even application. Pro Primer allows you to wear your favorite eye shadow all day long while enhancing the pigments in most eye shadows.

I like this because it’s not too creamy, it’s smooth and doesn't crease, it makes the eye shadow colors vibrant, and it makes the color pop

On the left is eye shadow swatch without primer and on the right is with the L.A. Girl pro primer, you'll notice that the color is more vibrant on the right than on the left and its stays like that for about 5 hours so I'll definitely recommend this for anyone looking for an eye shadow primer on a budget.

Right now, whether you’re planning a wedding at home or abroad, there are so many moving parts surrounding COVID-19 that you'll be wondering what to do and how to navigate it all. It is is very important to book a planner so they can help you navigate this crazy industry and offer up options. The truth is that the coronavirus has disrupted the Event industry, there is so much uncertainty and everything is all up in the air. My first recommendation is to postpone not cancel, its okay to be angry, sad or even cry but its important to know that its not a matter of if its a matter of when , Your day will come and when it does it will be the most amazing thing. When we can all come together and celebrate, there will be nothing else like it. Below are some key reason why you need a planner to help navigate this period: Emotions ...

Concealer: Before or After Foundation?

Prior to my enrollment in makeup school, I always knew concealer should be applied after foundation but when my instructor was creating the first look, she said concealer should go first and I was startled like 'what is she saying, this is just wrong'. This was going on in my head anyways (I didn't say it out but had my poker face on), even though I felt she was doing the wrong thing. Next day I got to school early and a couple of other trainees that were around, so I randomly asked; "should concealer be applied before or after foundation and they both said it should be before foundation with so much confidence". Well... I wasn't going to back down because I still didn't agree with the rationale behind their position but I don't enjoy arguing, so I just let it pass and more so, I wasn't about to make concealer an issue. Moving on,  I was working on my models and I decided to try out both methods, "before and after foundation" and I realis...

PRODUCT REVIEW: SLEEK FLASH 'A' POUT LIPSTAIN IN FORBIDDEN

After a very tiring day in makeup school I was getting ready to go home and I heard one of my friends ask one of the sales rep that come to advertise their different makeup brands  for lipstick and the sales rep said she had sleek and  I was like sleek, REALLY!!! (didn’t expect it to be good) and she then added that it’s matte and it’s very good and then my instructor whose judgement I trust consigned and said they have re-branded. Then I said bring OK lets see and as luck would have it she brought this bad boy  I mean that was the first shade she brought out was forbidden which is a dark red the shade after my own heart at that stage I knew I was going to get it even without trying it. I opened it and saw how thick it was so because I had not paid for it yet I applied to the hand of my hand( we makeup artist are kind of used to that) and applied it to my lips with a lip brush a little of this goes a long way and it dried even before I finished applying it, it’s...
